One day in Manila: history first, food later

Our suggested day keeps the focus on two experiences instead of trying to cross the whole metropolis. Adapt the order to your guide's meeting time and the sites that are open.

Morning: give Intramuros your attention

Start with a guided walk or bamboo-bike experience if its route suits your group. Make Fort Santiago or a museum visit your main stop, then leave time for questions and a break. Book a route that matches everyone's comfort with walking or cycling in warm weather.

Afternoon: choose a food experience

After lunch and a rest, join a food walk or explore a neighbourhood at your own pace. A tour with tastings can be easier to plan than a long restaurant checklist. Confirm whether the amount of food suits a full meal and whether drinks are included.

Leave the evening flexible

If you have an onward flight, end the sightseeing early and prioritize the transfer. If you are staying overnight, choose dinner near your hotel. Save a Tagaytay outing for a separate day; it serves a different purpose from a compact city visit.
